Obviously there's a lot of people in here actually riding these dreaded I/O's. I'll even bet a few of you have nice boats you're quite happy with too. So post your boats, setups, wakes and whatever you find relevant to the thread.

oh, its a searay 185 sport 2005 or 2004. bought it new december 2004 so im pretty sure its a 2004.
got a tower made for it 2 months ago and have loved the boat and tower. runs great, decent enough wake for what my family uses it for. might be getting fat sacs but not for sure. thats about it
great family boat, decent for everything except surf
unless u dont need your body parts ofcourse

I now have a Monster Tower installed but this is my boat.

Oh yeah. Mine's a Regal 21'. No tower but i made a DIY 8' pylon that works just fine for a multi-purpose boat... It's a big old heavy boat so it actually kicks up a good enough wake for us beginners. Season hasn't started yet over here tho.(still snow outside)

My Sea Ray 200. An oldie but a goodie. Deep V hull and a heavy boat. Kicks out enough wake for my skill level. Just happy to be on the water!

hey attila

what did you do with your bayliner for weight? anything? what else did you do to improve wake characteristics?

i think our hulls are pretty similar. i have a 05 maxum 1800MX. email me at brucemac@gmail.com if you can. thanks ;)

dude, i'm so jealous of your new boat. it's incredible looking. you lucky duck. did you trade it in, or sell it private?

i'll post back when i can get the boat out for the first time. my other pics don't show my new tow rig, or tower speaks.

(Message edited by brucemac on April 14, 2006)

2004 Glastron GX 185, WakeAir Switch tower... all I need is some warm weather. Since we're not pro riders or do we aspire to be, it's great for our skiing, riding, kneeboarding and yes, I'll say it, tubing needs!

1997 21' Regal LSR with a 5.7 liter Volvo Penta, Monster Tower, Perfect Pass, Ski Locker Sac, Signature 5 blade stainless prop, some home built speakers, and a kicking stereo. I couldn't be happier with it. What a great boat!

Yeah, the locals don't like me on the lakes here. always complaining and trying to wave me off to somewhere else.

Gotta find out if there are any noise ordinances, got a feeling I'm gonna be in a ton of trouble if there are.
