Heater hoses

I need to replace my flexiable heater hoses and looking to see if there is something better as these rip easy. Was thinking maybe the hose RV's use to empty the crapper with? Anyone know of a good replacement?

That sounds like a real problem if your loosing them that easily. Are you getting vibrations at the fitting?

I am talking about the flex plastic tubing that th hot aire blows through. The vents.

I've been around boating a long time and that's a damn good question. I have seen the problem with vent hose as well particularly with age. I don't have a good solution other than applying a little foil tape at stress or high damage areas.

The flex hoses that come with the kit, I think their called defroster hose, lose a lot of the heat by the time they get to the vent fitting... I believe it's a 3 inch hose.. Maybe some insulated flex hose would work,,
