I'm just about dying up here in Michigan. The long winter has left me with only 2 more weeks before I can take my first set. So that brings me to this; what are your goals for this long-anticipated season?

This summer I'm hoping to get some new toeside grabs and stick my backroll and a hs 3, and just appreciate my time on the water.

malibuboarder75 04-21-2007 3:43 PM

Get my shoulder healed so I can actually go for stuff.

04-21-2007 3:46 PM

I'm with you about dying in Michigan, but I'm planning on finally sticking a whirly bird, getting better with my toeside spins and add some grabs to my spins and inverts and landing the elusive hs 5 that's been working me good

dstockton 04-21-2007 3:49 PM

Today I worked on a hs 3 and backroll. I would like to get these and a tantrum. I don,t have a lot of good years left. I started late, I'm 46
years old.

quickpilot1010 04-21-2007 5:34 PM

im 17 and just started last year, im hoping to land some inverts, do some grabs and spins

closedtoe 04-21-2007 5:38 PM

heeb_v215 04-21-2007 5:42 PM

Im just learning myself,i started last season this year would like to learn how to clear the wake

madison_boarder 04-21-2007 5:43 PM

My goals are to: solidify my toeside W2W, land a TS FS 180, solidify my HS FS 180 and land a backroll.

j3t_m3ch 04-21-2007 6:14 PM

My main goal is to land a hs 3 WITH the handle and definately work on my toeside everythings.

wakemitch 04-21-2007 7:01 PM

walt 04-21-2007 7:08 PM

I'd like to be able to do everything that I can do now switch.

liquidmx 04-21-2007 7:33 PM

Get back to where I was (ACL surgery in dec), better at spinning, and stick a 7.

04-21-2007 7:40 PM

im a little embarrassed to admit this but i cant land a ts frontroll. it seems ridiculous and i know this trick cant be difficult however i just dont get it. anyway id like to learn this and continue to get my hs 3's more off axis. theres a bunch of other crap but those are my priorities

majorman22 04-21-2007 7:47 PM

i just hope to learn an invert and a 3

stwake 04-21-2007 8:49 PM

up here on the canadian boarder in NY i went out yesterday.. working on the 4 180s for the first part of the season.. maybe some rails and a 360 or 2

weskel 04-21-2007 9:08 PM

I just hope I can get up and ride in a straight line for more than 10 seconds....

Now thats a goal....

Weskel

mnwakerider 04-22-2007 1:08 AM

FS and BS (I was closer on the BS last year) 360 and actually constitentaly land tantrums and backrolls...

themann39 04-22-2007 8:02 AM

My goal is to just be able to get out on the water. I was only out about 5 times last year thanks to all the travel i do for work. Speaking of michigan weather i hope that its nice there when i get back next week. I know alot can change in that amount of time. Id like to be able to get my back roll down and get my toeside 3 back and get a toe and heel blind 180

tahoeguy7 04-22-2007 11:20 AM

I would really like to have more water time this year. As for tricks, I would like to dial in the HSFS and HSBS 360 as well as land a BS 180 wrapped.

aces6692 04-22-2007 11:30 AM

hs 3 and tantrum

jmv 04-22-2007 2:18 PM

I like to continue what I started last year before I broke my arm--backroll, tantrum, 3s, and the infamous fashion air.

spin2win 04-22-2007 2:35 PM

I want to stick a wrapped off oxis 7, raleys, ts bs 3s, and tantrums. YES TANTRUM i cant do them..Im kind of illiterate when it comes to that rotation.

snyper1d 04-22-2007 3:10 PM

Have no less than a 2:1 girl/guy ratio on the boat

gimp990 04-22-2007 3:20 PM

I want to get the fear from my injury last year out of my head and just go bigger than ever on everything (keep my height at 10+ feet on every jump).

dnp33 04-22-2007 3:34 PM

grab my FS 180's(heelside and toeside, take the toeside ones w2w), get consistent on HS 360's and land some TS 360s, HS BS 180s and tantrums

redv215 04-22-2007 4:50 PM

Wakeboard all season WITHOUT injury...that is my only goal

eternalshadow 04-22-2007 5:26 PM

rehab, rehab, rehab, Once the knee is good to go I'll worry about new goals next year.

zuka666 04-22-2007 5:53 PM

My goal is to get all the tricks that I finished last season off with consistent so that maybe I can pick something new up by October

pickle311 04-22-2007 9:34 PM

hs fs 180 and a tantrum

ralph 04-22-2007 9:43 PM

Have fun & not get injured

kottonm0uthking4 04-23-2007 10:47 AM

hang 10 on my wakeboard and then jump off and barefoot! That looks like so much fun. The tricks will come when i stop the drinking!

timmy 04-23-2007 11:14 AM

ride more than 10 times this year.

wakeman7 04-23-2007 11:20 AM

Ride more, Backroll, TS 3, HS 3, TS BS 180

sandman59 04-23-2007 11:29 AM

To improve my switch riding, w2w 180's and toeside w2w. After watching the "Building Foundation" dvd from "The Book" series, I have decided to start over this summer and learn everything the correct way. I just bought a portable dvd player so I can reference the dvd when I'm out on the boat.

woohoo 04-23-2007 11:47 AM

More grabs, 180's, and if I'm doing good try some 3's.

jman 04-23-2007 12:05 PM

the first two weeks once i begin riding, i am going to make hsfs 180s second nature, work on better edging on ts for bigger tsfs 180s, land a hsfs 3 (the last ride of the year i landed one but could not hold on. i didn't throw the handle i just didn't have a solid pass). also i am going to work on switch riding and switch tricks, and by the first month, a bs 180, backroll or tantrum.

After snowboarding for the first time all winter i learned 180s, and a 3 and now i am fully motivated to make sure i do it on the water. For me this is the year to accelerate my riding. Booyah!

ironj32 04-23-2007 12:28 PM

in the next month: get solid on all 180's, throw some grabs on my back roll, start landing tantrums/ scarecrows/raley's/360's.

byrd 04-23-2007 12:31 PM

W2W HS BS 180's Blind These look so cool 2 me...

iukekini 04-23-2007 12:52 PM

Grab everything that I can do now and learn it switch. A couple more 5s and maybe a 7

clay_fraley 04-23-2007 12:59 PM

A couple of more mobes, mainly moby dick and pete rose are the two Im wanting the most. and a w2w heel and toe 7. and I was really close to the w2w heel 7 last year so hopefully that will come easy

desertcajun 04-23-2007 1:49 PM

Get on the water as much as possible!!!!! Then let the wake gods decide my fate!!!

big_ed_x2 04-23-2007 2:05 PM

injury free and then

ride as much as I did in 2005 or more.....I haven't ridden very much in 2006.

kylek306 04-23-2007 4:22 PM

blind 5, nose grab r2r and handle pass kgb

ryan27r 04-23-2007 5:11 PM

xtremebordgurl 04-23-2007 6:10 PM

I want to get w2w consistent, would like one spin and one invert by the end of summer. I feel like this has been my goal for way too long, l'd like to post new goals next spring. Oh! And i want to learn how to do those tumble turns, if thats what they're called. they look pretty fun.

andyh 04-23-2007 7:32 PM

go out more than one week for boardin

xtremebordgurl 04-23-2007 7:44 PM

Andy I go out every chance I get, its tuff dealing with New England weather, the boat can't even go into the water until middle to late may. We just got snow last week. I go out even when its almost too choppy to drive the boat in, and I'll ride behind anything. For 4 years I rode behind a 70 hp zodiac in the ocean. Wasn't till 05 we got a real boat on the lake. And that summer I was laid up cause of knee surgery. I'm not trying to make excuses, cause if i worked harder at getting in shape and pushed even harder on the water I'd be better but for those who have near perfect weather more often then not, its not that easy to get out everywhere else. Just trying to put it in perspective.

wakecrzy2000 04-23-2007 8:43 PM

i want to land a raley and a backroll or a tantrum some invert, otherwise just have fun on the water.

clubjoe 04-28-2007 8:32 AM

My goal list!

1. Strap a board to a couple o' ragrats and hope they like it! They recently tandem surfed with me and said the want to try it by themelves. I think it's time to try and set the hook.............I've already lured them into the black hole of quads and sandrails! ...This is all new to them, but hopefully it'll turn into a lifelong family activity....(Yes, i used kids and me in the same sentence.............SHUT UP!!)

2. Land a 360 or some kind of invert! The ankle is feeling good and I'm not so preoccupied with it now.....We'll see what happens. ROB!!! your on notice again with the backroll, and BUG for the 360!! ........
Oh, and work on my switch riding!

3. Tune the boat wake......I re-propped finally (THANKS GID!! ) and can use the weight I have without having planing issues....Maybe some tower speakers to pump out the kiddie tunes?

kslakebum 04-28-2007 9:53 AM

Upside down, not on accident either.

Get out on the lake as much as possible and enjoy the whole SUMMER. Winter is so over rated.

twitch 04-28-2007 6:12 PM

dial my 3's, solidify my toeside... its still sketchy, and id love to get an invert under my belt

tylerstieg 04-28-2007 6:22 PM

work on more switch, ts3's, hs3's, front roll

hawk7 04-28-2007 8:02 PM

everything! 360, blind 360, tantrum [landed today] whirlybird [almost (thise hurt to fall on)], but one pethetic goal, i still can't go w2w toeside!!! i gotta get that one deffinately by now.

tigebob 04-29-2007 12:44 AM

Learn how to do a tantrum again...I seemed to have lost it last summer, start landing backroll to revert, I was so close last summer...and staying Injury free

hudd007 04-29-2007 2:50 AM

I'll be honest. I want to do a w2w toeside. I just learned last year heelside right before I tore off my prop and tracking fins and ended my summer last year. So w2w toeside and ALSO 180.

pilot_ryder 04-29-2007 6:29 PM

Just get out on the water, the weather has really sucked lately if i want to get out by may, there is still allot of ice on the water in Edmonton and area

hawk7 04-29-2007 7:49 PM

sean- toesides tricky. tell me when you get it.

wakeeater 04-29-2007 8:14 PM

dlwsrider 04-30-2007 9:15 AM

ord27 04-30-2007 9:28 AM

big_ed_x2 05-01-2007 7:40 AM

entrust,ts bs 360???

Are you sure?

From what I understand and know....there is no way you should be trying that trick and you never even done a regular 360 like a HS or TS front side much less a TS BS....correct me if I'm wrong tho.

wakeboarder123 05-01-2007 8:40 AM

hsfs 360
hsbs 360
hsbs 180
hs tantrum

jusstty 05-01-2007 8:53 AM

TS OF 540
Tantrum
HS 360
Consistent raley's
BS 180 both sides

dlwsrider 05-01-2007 3:27 PM

big ed,

the first 3 i ever did was TS BS...

but now that ive started them, almost every 3 is easier than them, haha.

but i definantly recomend h/s frontside 3's before you throw a backside in }
