for all you liquid force lovers out there. which board do you like better, the Team or the Substance, and why. thanks in advance.

Team's faster, Substance has more pop. You'll get opinions both ways. I personally prefer the Substance. I'm kinda partial to molded fin boards though too.

I've never ridden the Team (and suck as a wakeboarder in general), but I bought the substance this summer and love it. I'd highly recommend it because it feels very stable and I'm getting on edge a lot easier with it (without faceplanting!). i love the team... <BR>it really depends on what you want. evan is right..the team is faster and the substance gets more pop. but the team has 6 fins which makes it track really well and has a continuous rocker..the substance has a 3-stage rocker. <BR>-skylar

...or if you want something crazy, try the Fish. That board is just WAY too much fun. I have a Substance, and it's a killer board as well, although it's not as fast as I'd like... I like my boards pretty fast.

Substance, way more pop imo.

I was going to get the substance but got the PS3 which I hear is similar. I love it and I ride it with out the center fins. <BR> <BR>I used to ride the team, it was a good board too but it hurt my knees because you land way out in the flats.

I have both, I prefer the team. <BR> <BR>Team is faster and I feel more controlled when turning to come back into the wake. I feel a more controlled edge up and through the wake. I also like the cupped fins, it fits my style. <BR> <BR>Substance has an insane amount of pop, it feels like I am getting popped early compared to my Team. It also has a way loser feel and I have to really use my edge to keep it locked in.

I agree with the write in option of watson.

i like substance, it has more of a snowy feel supposubly, and i like the loose boards like that

If you're a big guy you might want the Team 143. It has more surface area than my old Balance 144 but not quite as fast. Haven't heard a bad thing about a Substance. I've tried the 142-fun ride but I like my Team better for my style.

which board has softer landings???

Jason, <BR> <BR>the substance is a great board, but the landings are brutal. I switched to a Watson this summer and the spine down the middle gives great, supersoft, marshmellow, pillow, cloudlike landings.

The team has super soft landings
