I saw this add yesterday for a 2007 Moomba LSV for 28k. I went and saw it today, I put deposit down for purchase...lol

http://dallas.craigslist.org/dal/boa/1560908081.html

Boat checked out, the only thing it's missing is rear ballast (has center ballast & wake plate) and it'll need perfect pass. Otherwise, for 28k, a 2007 model, and only 88 hours I thought this was a great deal. I wonder what'll it'll cost to plum the rear and add two sacks?

I've been looking for about 6 months now. I can't wait to bring it home next weekend. Not my number choice for color scheme but it'll work for 28k.... maybe a wrap though...we'll see.

I checked with a local dealer and it's partially still under warranty so I'm going to be able to pick up a 3 year full-boat warranty at a discounted price. I should be good to go!

(Message edited by ausbill32 on January 21, 2010)

Not a bad looking boat, great price! Hopefully those flames are a sticker, and not in the gel.
Remove them, and I think you have a winner!

yea, I was thinking the flames will have to be removed in the very near future!!

Congrats! Thats a good boat and a great price! We love ours. It does everything we want, (except ski).
I agree, loose the sticker!

Does it have the ez cruise? If so mine holds pretty well even when loaded down with 3k of ballast.

Buy some 750's to put in the back and just throw a pump over the side and it will be golden !

Well I guess you will need some more in the nose also......lol

Enjoy....

Yea, it came with the EZ Cruise. Does that work similiar to perfect pass?

hillbilly 01-21-2010 7:53 PM

It is rpm based. I can tell it slows down in hard turns or double ups. But then just throttle up a bit and it does good enough.

My biggest complaint with it is on take off you can only go up to the set rpm before it takes over. So it takes a little longer to get on plane when heavy sometimes. Just remember to turn it of between riders. If it sits to long you have no throttle when you take off, But you remember quickly after it happens to turn it off lol.

But you can adjust it up or down with a button while on the fly just like perfect pass.

Congrats on the new toy! in the 23 LSV I've ridden behind we rode with the rear ballast between 1/3 and 1/2 full and the front around 2/3 to 3/4 full. Seemed like the boat loved the weight up front. You'll have to play around how u like it but that was the cleanest wake we found.

beretta5spd 01-21-2010 9:09 PM

Never mind haha I seen that it's missing the rear ballast. Just know that we didn't go with a lot of weight in the back. We used some but not a lot.

You can upgrade the ez cruise to perfect pass. Great boat at a great price. You can always install ballast in the rear lockers.

Austin I have never been a fan of that flame pattern but on that color it looks GREAT. BTW that boat is a true workhorse what motor is in it?
