I am putting together my ballast system slowly but surely. Got the rear seat sac yesterday and wanted to plumb in remote fill/drain for now but it seems the threads are neither 3/4 pipe or garden hose fitting. does any one know where I can get fittings to screw into the sacs fly high does not offer a 45deg. elbow to hose barb.

Your local dealer will have to order them from barefoot intl and it will take weeks.

Weeks? My dealer ordered some a couple of weeks ago and it took less than a week.

It shouldn't take weeks, but if it does it's probably the dealer, not BI. I had some *custom* fittings made by BI, and it took about 2 weeks.

Matt, <BR> <BR>I didn't see any 45 degree fittings on that page. He requested 45 degree, not 90.

3/4" NPT fittings will screw directly into the sacks, but they won't have the secondary O-ring seal. You'd need to use pipe dope, silicone, or cement them in permanently for zero leakage. BI told me that general purpose PVC cement works on them (as in not the stuff that's specific to PVC or CPVC).

Thanks trace I'll try again cause last night I could not get a BI plug to screw into a female 3/4 pipe coupler or a garden hose thread. maybe the male will work...

Brad - Did you get your fittings figured out? I have threaded a male pvc coupler into the pro-x sacs but it did leak a bit and will mess up the threads since they are a bit different. <BR> <BR>Has anyone tried the connectors that matt suggested? I see they have 3/4 and 1-1/8 ones. I'm going to upgrade my 3/4's and was wondering if the 1-1/8 ones will thread to the Gen III pro-x sacs.

I just found some white 3/4" thread to 1" barb pieces at the Depot in the section where they display couplings for water lines, etc. The baggie says "Watts A-625 1" x 3/4" Nylon Barb to" I think they were $2 each. They screw into the pro-x series sack female coupler just like the fitting that comes with the sac(no binding up like pvc pieces mashing the threads). I installed them today and used plumbers tape and o-rings I also found at the depot. The o-rings kind of mash up out the sides but I dont see any leaks yet. If I do I will use the PVC cement like Trace mentions. Good luck

Wakeside has a lot of these in stock. No 45's though. Why not just run a piece of flexible tube between two staight barbs for your angle? yea the 3/4 male will go into the sacs a little teflon tape and it sealed up. I don't think it messed up the threads as it was a little loose. It worked great all weekend. The only bad part was the quick connect male will not thread into a 3/4 female so I had to plumb the whole thing to the pump instead of just a remote fill location.Prolly the right way to do it any way just took longer any thing I can put off untill november gives me something to do then and more time to ride now<img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/clipart/happy.gif" border=0>. <BR> <BR>Matt thanks for the info I knew all these were available from wakeside just was looking for a 45 because of my tight location. <BR> <BR>side note ..we had about 450lbs of lead under the back seat but fuel and the upcomming change in a tow vehicle has driven me to install water ballast.Not only can I only fit 300 lbs of h2o under there (I emptyed sac into 5 gal pails) the lead was a lot easier to move around to balance the wakes but I am sure every one knows this<img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/clipart/happy.gif" border=0>
