hey, i caught myself last night going to sleep with my wakeboard, wakeboarding season is pretty much done for me, i keep thinking about hitting that wake . so i was wondering if anyone else has ever slept with there board???

mendo247 10-04-2006 3:49 PM

shredsickgnar 10-04-2006 3:50 PM

I haven't actually had it in my bed with me but, I've been know to put my new gear right next to my bed. Most recently when I got my 07 Murrays.

pittsy 10-04-2006 3:56 PM

nope never..make a trip out here to orlando and wakeboarding season never ends..

thane_dogg 10-04-2006 3:56 PM

my board was leaned up against my loft last night when I went to bed and I woke up this morning and it fell over and knocked over my root beer, so that sucked. unrelated, whatever.

cwbboarder 10-04-2006 4:09 PM

it seems like i'm the only one thats funny.

wakeboardnut 10-04-2006 4:34 PM

not funny, weird

otiswunguy 10-04-2006 4:36 PM

its okay to love your board, just don't "LOVE" your board.

poser007 10-04-2006 4:45 PM

I have never slept with it but when I got my new Absolute I sat in my Hot tub and put it on and just sat there watching it float on top of the water. I know I know

nickdakoolkat 10-04-2006 4:48 PM

Ive laid down with it next to me on my bed, just popping the hinges on my zeus'...but never slept with it

jsimpson7 10-04-2006 5:04 PM

i have slept with my wake skate shoes before....but i am pretty sure there was a little alcohol involved...

antbug 10-04-2006 5:07 PM

I was really drunk at Lake Shasta over the 4th of July one year and I passed out with my board in my bed....does that count?

wakeslife 10-04-2006 5:08 PM

Chris don't worry this is normal. Im feeling the same thing. Just last week I brought my gear into my room from the garage so I have something to look at when im depressed from doin homework. Wakeworld.com helps too... and really, May isn't that far away

socalwakepunk 10-04-2006 5:17 PM

When I got my first board ever (many moons ago), I let it sleep in the bed, I slept on the floor...

(Message edited by socalwakepunk on October 04, 2006)

kristian 10-04-2006 5:40 PM

I've slept on my boardbag at the airport many times. But never in bed with me........might be something to try, lol.

dococ 10-04-2006 5:41 PM

Well, I'll admit when I first started wakeboarding, I was a bit confused what the binding lube was for, and... well... one thing led to another...

cwbboarder 10-04-2006 5:45 PM

eternalshadow 10-04-2006 6:14 PM

Chris where you at dude?

and UpNorth X1 you're in Michigan!

What's going on here people???

We were out riding way up here in Edmonton Alberta again last week. The water has to be right around 50 now! Take advantage of that high 50's low 60's water and don't stop until you have a risk of freezing things up over night!

cwbboarder 10-04-2006 6:22 PM

well i dont live to close to my cottage to it's hard to get down there. especialy being in school and having a job and no car.

sammm724centurion 10-04-2006 6:48 PM

No. I haven't slept with my wakeboard. Let me guess... you haven't got laid in a while?

eternalshadow 10-04-2006 6:50 PM

Considering you're sleeping with your wakeboard I don't think getting to the lake would be a problem.

cwbboarder 10-04-2006 7:04 PM

well it a problem when its 2 hours away. and sam dont be talking shti about me when you dont even know me.

escapade4k 10-04-2006 7:40 PM

I keep mine in my room and occasionally we have a pep talk...
Cross that wake! Cross that wake!

kylielogan 10-04-2006 7:52 PM

Ha! Kristin - I tell my board the same thing. It always replies, "You first!" I'm not gunna let it sleep with me until I know it'll "put out" over that wake! LOL!!

iamnathanhudson 10-04-2006 8:36 PM

yeah, i was sleeping with my wakeskate but it just didn't work out with the grip tape and all.....LOL!!!!!!!

midwesty 10-04-2006 9:17 PM

chris, shockingly enough that some people drive that distance daily for good water or even just water.

also, take it easy on the anger issues

coleebear80 10-04-2006 9:46 PM

I sleep with my wakeboard & snowboard rite next to my bed and I've often fallen asleep imagining myself actually jumping to W2W...usually have amazing dreams when I fall asleep thinkin bout wakeboarding

criswb 10-04-2006 9:52 PM

Umm... no.. never slept on the same bed... but sometimes when I take the bindings off the board I put the board under my bed... and sometimes when I really want to ride ill put on my bindings for a few secs... and lots of times I dream about wakeboarding.

10-04-2006 10:00 PM

i pee'd in the bed and tried to jump pillow to pillow once

coleebear80 10-04-2006 10:11 PM

alan- ha ha ha ha thats freakin funny, but really gross ;-)

anodyne 10-05-2006 1:21 AM

you SLEPT with your wakeboard? Like in your bed with you??? Where has our society gone?? Bed is for two things: sleeping and the girl. That's it. I don't know if you were raised by wolves, but it's very unusual to sleep with a non-organic, non-human, non-female.

and Sam... I think you hit him in a tender spot;).

ssteele013 10-05-2006 9:35 AM

yeah when i got my firsyt board

dizzyg 10-05-2006 9:42 AM

um, no I sure haven't

byrd 10-05-2006 9:44 AM

I'm afraid to ask where the lube ended up....

rooster_cogburn 10-05-2006 9:44 AM

I hope you ride the Divine, or some female oriented wakeboard, cause otherwise, that's just weird

shepherd1000 10-05-2006 10:12 AM

I must admit that I've slept with a few ladies who were about as flat as a board. But no, not actually with my board.

woreout 10-05-2006 11:45 AM

TOESIDE OR HEELSIDE WHICH POSITION?

woohoo 10-05-2006 12:01 PM

Never slept with my board, I do dream about riding when I havn't been out in a week though.

ralph 10-05-2006 12:13 PM

I've never slept with my board but I did wear my new wake vest over my shirt all day at work when it arrived. If anybody got to close I would chest bump them out of the way. People at the office know I am crazy.

wakeslife 10-05-2006 12:29 PM

Jeffrey, I know, I'm gonna get a few more skate sets here downstate behind our pwc, but the boat is cleaned and stored up north for the season. Too bad I left my wetsuit at the cottage 60 degree air/ 60 degree water isn't too bad

woreout 10-05-2006 12:55 PM

Water here is a chilly 87 degrees with a wind chill of about 90

byrd 10-05-2006 1:25 PM

Billy, that's just wrong...Dont everyone that, we'll have everyone out on our lake this weekend.

woohoo 10-05-2006 1:36 PM

Man it's great to ride in South Florida my water temps are the same because I ride in Lake PLacid.

woreout 10-05-2006 1:45 PM

Thats about 30 min. south of Winter Haven, nice area.

woohoo 10-05-2006 1:49 PM

Yea its very nice there and even better already no one is on any of the lakes, it's awesome.

nt1964 10-05-2006 3:34 PM

NO... but did take the boat with me to bed once
