New Nautique coming soon?

Just saw this news story. How much better can boats really gets?

Better? They can get better but that's a judgement call. Personally I think they make the best boat out there but they can do something a lot less subjective. They can make one that is bigger.

My money is on a chronic two-foot-itis curing Super Air Nauitique 240 or 250. Maybe an Icon Edition too.

If they're calling it a game changer its not just going to be longer. Maybe another push at a hybrid boat?

TheHebrewHammer 03-05-2012 3:09 PM

I would like to see more hybrid/electric boats like what Epic has done. It's definitely the future. Not sure if CC is there yet though. I'd be surprised if that's what it was.

simplej 03-05-2012 3:21 PM

yea no way its just an electric boat
bob soven is talking about a new hull for sure with more air time
perhaps a picklefork nautique?

this will be an interesting year for new hulls for sure. z3, new xstar and new nautique?

PS dave if youre reading we want the run down on the z3 wake.

They have already developed and released the 200 & 230E, both completely electric boats.
Here is the link to the 230, http://nautique.com/Press/index/naut...wakeboard-boat

TheHebrewHammer 03-05-2012 4:40 PM

Wow, didn't know about that. Never heard of/seen anyone using one.

logan 03-05-2012 4:50 PM

maybe they are bringing the original SAN hull back so CC fans can have a real wake again? Long live the original SAN.

juniorhawk 03-05-2012 5:14 PM

That 230 hasn't been seen yet as far as I know. It was supposed to be at a few boat shows, but it wasn't at mine and I haven't seen any in the US. Also I haven't seen any updates to that story.

But yeah, the all-electric 230 was already announced. It isn't going to be that. New boat.

you probably wont see it for a while. nautique anounced the release of a 100% electric wake boat BUT its not in production.

gotwake133 03-05-2012 9:09 PM

they had one 230E at a show overseas I believe, but could be wrong.
From what I have heard, its a completely new boat, not bringing back the old 210.

jeff_mn 03-06-2012 6:42 AM

diesel maybe?

Moose99 03-06-2012 11:28 AM

More news, sort of: http://www.nautique.com/teamblog/?p=1152

I'm still interested to see what this thing is going to look like. i can;t see them doing a picklefork like everybody else.

nautiquerider 03-06-2012 1:16 PM

I can tell you it will not be a picklefork.

gnarslayer 03-06-2012 1:25 PM

I heard from a little bird that it does have a pickle fork, is called a 240 and you can ride 80 feet at 22mph... thats all i have to say

nautiquerider 03-06-2012 1:32 PM

Dude shoot your little bird lol

jillyjam 03-07-2012 10:55 AM

The new 23'11/12ths will have a rounder-nose, open bow - very similar in style and design to the Sea Doo 230 -Wake: http://www.sea-doo.com/showroom/boat.../230-wake.aspx

- Ballast for large wakes
- Seats flip and re-position
- New platform like the blunt edge MasterCraft
- Display and gauges are simply ghey

Anyway, "all will be revealed" soon :>
