Ok guys, I need to know the actual name of this trick and how to execute it, I saw someone doing on a video and can't find the description anywhere online. It's when you ride out into the flats and bring the board up on its tail, (almost 90 degrees) and ride like that for a few seconds, almost like doing a manuel on a skateboard. Whats it called and what's the best way to learn it?

thanks

ollieing into it and ollieing out is fun.

what i do is haul out into the flats and while i still have the speed lean all the way back and slam down my backfoot

Do what caleb said, with slamming the back foot.

I tend to ride the HS edge on the tail of the board. I just haul into the flats, and in one motion drop my back hip and shoulder and let go with my back hand. slam the back foot down, pull up the front a little. Holding them takes practice and muscle, and I can't hold mine for more than about 3 seconds at like a 50 degree angle (from the boat).... But initiating it is pretty simple.

After getting it down and being able to hold it, then ollieing into it would be tight as HELL! And next riding season, I'm definitely giving that a run.
