In Ft Collins there is a pretty big lake, Horsetooth Reservior (<a href="http://www.horsetoothreservoir.com/" target="_blank">www.horsetoothreservoir.com/</a>). The only thing that sucks about Horsetooth is that it can get pretty packed. Other good lakes to go in that area are Carter (<a href="http://www.carterlakemarina.com" target="_blank">www.carterlakemarina.com</a>) and Jackson Lake (<a href="http://parks.state.co.us/Parks/JacksonLake/" target="_blank">http://parks.state.co.us/Parks/JacksonLake/</a>).

Horsetooth is good during the week. Otherwise on the weekends it's trashed by 10AM. Carter I haven't been to in years, and Jackson can be good if you don't mind everything turning green. Lots of algae usually. There are a number of private lakes around, and you can find info on what's available usually on Craigslist. We also go to Glendo and Guernsey in Wyoming a couple times a season. Bigger lakes and usually good water nearly all day. We wakeboard, kneeboard, surf, and tube.

Whats happening.. I'm up here at CSU for school and i'll be coming back too around then. Late summer/early fall. Any of you guys have boats or are you looking for people with them? I'd be stoked to hook up and take a few sets around then. <BR>Colton Duncan

We are at horsetooth pretty much every weekend riding. It does get trashed but we still have plenty of fun.

Sick man.. you guys heading out after this snow melts? Its supposed to be pretty warm in the next few weeks

Horsetooth opens for boating April 1st.

It will probably be closer to May 1st before we make it to Horsetooth.

Might and it is a big might, get out there this weekend. Getting the boat dewinterized tomorrow.

Hit up horsetooth this afternoon for some great weather and great water for skiing. Water didn't seem extremely cold but was by no means warm. Probably headed back out tomorrow afternoon!!

If the weather holds going to try to get to boyd or horsetooth saturday. Have to try out the new strargazer system to make sure it works.

if you go to boyd and need another i could use a ride! not gonna get the boat out till next week.

Hey guys and gals me and my wife are looking for new people to go out in the boat with the people that used to go out with us are just not that into it any more so we need a new group of people that live around ft collins that want to hang out in the boat and wakeboard and surf. we usually are out on the lake every weekend and try to go at least once a week. we own a 08 Calabria Team V and all we ask is that you respect our boat and pitch in for gas. we will be at the meet and greet so if you need a ride hit us up.
