Need help choosing a landscape lens...

Right now my price range is around $900. Checking out 15-85, 17-40 and 10-22. If you guys have any advice or other recommendations it would be greatly appreciated :)

you have a 1.6 crop I assume? the 10-22 or tokina 12-24 are really good on crop cameras, the tokina will be cheaper. I have one and love it, under $500 used

Yeah I guess I should have included I have 2 Canon bodies, neither are full frame.

I like my new tokina 11-16 a lot and it works on a 1.3X crop as well. I previously owned the 17-40 and it's rock solid. The 15-85 appears to be a decent lens as well from the reports I've read but not L quality build wise like the 17-40 . The 10-22s are great but pricey, really not in the same price range as all the other lens mentioned so far but it certainly has an excellent reputation!

Thanks! I think I am going to rent a couple before I make my decision, but leaning towards the tokina 12-24 or 11-16 and the 10-22.

I also vote for the Tokina 11-16. I have use one extensively the last couple years and love this lens!

Here is a shot with a 11-16.
