I got a cassette concave projector and love it. I rode a regular cassette before this and I think the concave is the shizzy.

i got a hyperlite sbg, its really nice

I have a Kampus Swing - it's concave. If you are looking for a kickass skate you've got to try this one out. Take a look at their website www.kampuswakesk8.com.

I've been riding my flat foam top 41" Cassette for about a year now. It's alright for what I'm doing.

Throw some pics up fellas.
|
For those of you who are riding skates with grip tape what shoes do you like. I just got a pair of the 3thirteen Blings, these shows are totally "bling bling". Definitely the best show out there on the market in my opinion.
|
Here is Arun Frances riding my board, behind my boat and totally schooling me!!!!

Damn that Arun ;->

Phillip, I go with the Asics wakeskate shoe. I'm not an advocate of wakeskate shoes, overrated IMO
Those 313's are hot though.
|
David,

I understand what you're saying, but the 313's are designed for the sole purpose of wakeskating. If you get a chance try pair on and try them out. They are super light and with the vents and holes drilled in the bottom they don't get waterlogged.
|
i drilled holes in a old pair of reef skate shoes the bombs i ride a cassete 142 but have tried my friends concave and it rocks. i've seen a new hyperlyte grubb concave foam top. it looks like a good ride i'm waiting to pick one of those up when hyper gets them out.

scape 112(already had to send it in though)
|
Cassete Concave 43" w/Double Up 1.5" ramp fins (the board didn't come w/fins). It releases super easy for butter slide 180s and what not.

For shoes I have some custom old school suede Airwalks w/a bunch of holes randomly drilled into the soles.
|
i have a cassette 46" and custom new balance wakeskate shoes. they are pretty light, and they have holes drilled in the bottom for drainage.
|
i have a cwb lucky but im just starting but once i get the money i will get a cassete concave
|
Customised HL Grubb...

Kampus Slide.
|
me and my bro made a old mutiny board into a wakeskate, cut the edges down, poxyed the edges, and gripped the top... its really wide so it works really well considering we have big feet.
|
Any one else bummed that their skates don't last for shizle. My first flat cassette lasted pretty well. My 41" cassette 3d maybe made it 6 months, and I only used it as a wake trick board, I think it saw a slider 2 times. Right now I'm on a flat 43" that I don't expect to last very long.
I'm ashamed that I am riding wakeskate specific shoes, the Reef Byerlys. I just havn't been skateboarding enough to wear through shoes like in the old days. The one good thing about them is the sole is made like you're favorite old skate shoes, nice and thin, wouldn't where them for a long walk though.

MUTINY 39.5 WITH KICK TAIL. BEST DECK EVER.
|
CWB Lucky 45. Worst skate ever.

hyperlite scape 112

Cassette Concave. We had such a blast riding that board this last weekend!

Cassette 45, repainted, cleared, and re-gripped with industrial grip tape. It sticks well, but cuts skin well too !!! And just old canvas topsider dock shoes, very light, very cheap, and sticks well to any grip tape !!!
