Do you think if I put a 7" motorized screen/ deck in the boat it would last? I wanna put one in and add a camera on the tower so you wouldn't need a mirror. Just curious if it would last?

i've had two seven inch screens molded in my glove box for the last two years with no problems.

A boat would be hard on a motorized screen, the gears are very small and not that strong to be getting beat up in a boat. You would be better off doing like Ponte and mounting a screen some where else.

How well can you see the screens in the direct sunlight?

We were going to do this, but our head unit mounts a screen wouldn't come up because it would hit the steering wheel.... make sure it has its full range of motion needed to open so it doesn't get stuck.

I will have to look into that, never thought of it hitting
