Chicago Boat Show Rail Jam?
 

On the website for the 2011 Chicago Boat Show, it says Step Up Productions is hosting a rail jam inside McCormick center! Is that true?

Yes, last I heard it's still on. It will be back by where the Supra's and Moomba's have been in past years.

NAW, have you heard of when the rail jam will be on. I can't seem to find specific dates or times anywhere. If i drive up i wouldn't mind catching some of it.

I got the boatshow dates but do you think the railjam runs everyday allday?

They did one in Minneapolis last year and it ran every day - I think there were 3-4 performances per day.

They did one in Atlanta last year. On Thursday and Friday, they had mostly local riders. On Saturday, they had some of the top team riders from the manufacturers. Not sure about Sunday, I wasnt there. They also had one at Surf Expo this year. They were worth checking out. I think that the really shallow and short landing areas cut down on some of the more spectacular tricks, so I wouldn't go expecting it to be incredible, or you could be disappointed.

Those are the dates for the rail jam. Yes there will be shows every day I believe.

Wednesday - January 12 at 5 p.m. and 8 p.m.
· Thursday - January 13 at 2 p.m., 5 p.m. and 8 p.m.
· Friday - January 14 at 2 p.m., 5 p.m. and 8 p.m.
· Saturday - January 15 at 12 p.m., 2 p.m., 5 p.m. and 8 p.m.
· Sunday - January 16 at 12 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.

Haha, that was weird I kept checking the "features at a glance" page last night and the times werent listed. They are there now. Should be a good time.

Your all welcome! I called the event coordinator for the Chicago Boat Show yesterday as well as Step Up Productions.

Step up told me they did email the times and dates to the event coordinator.
The event coordinator called me back last night saying they had inadvertently omitted the dates and times for the Rail Jam and that they where now on the site.

I'm glad to have found out so I know what day and time I want to show up. I'll be out there Friday should be a good show this year!
