Battery Shack in the Keys in Florida. I got mine there. Great guys to work with! I did have a problem with mine that I am resolving with them right now. I had the problem at the first of the summer. I am just now getting around to resolving it with them and they are still standing behind their product without any questions. So far, great guys to work with. Alot of people on WW use their alternators.

If you buy an alternator from the battery shack in florida I would strongly recommend that you have them not use their regulator. I bought one of their alternators and I am charging optima batteries. Their alternators do not charger optima batteries. Because they are self exciting regulators they never see enough voltage diff. to make them charge with 14.4V . I would only see around 12.5 volts max. I then took the alternator to the shop that Grant recommended in San jose and they put in a wire exciting regulator> now I see 14.4 volts. I am pushing around 7,000 watts and 9 optima batteries. I ended up frying the battery shack alternator and am now running the cartronics largest alternator that will fit the PCM motor- the largest Delco alternator that I could fit. I went thru 1 smaller alternator (140amp version) that Cartronics sold me when they finally figures out that I needed the largest case alternator that they could provide the 160 amp version. I was frying alternators becuase I was trying to charge too many batts. at one time> I now have a perko switch that seperates my stereo bank from my house bank- this puts MUCH less strain on the alternator.
Hope this helps.
Good luck.
