Thats one of the coolest parts of the delta..on any given weekend you can be riding and look over to see a big name riding right by you.I was eating lunch at union piont went I looked over and saw him sitting at the table right next to me.

migs 07-09-2012 7:45 PM

Couple more photos , another good weekend on the water.

I'd LOSE IT if we were just hanging in the boat and the vandall rolled up and then we got to watch him ride. I can't even begin to explain how jealous I am.

I got to hang with Randall for a while on Friday in Tampa. He's honestly one of the most gracious, down to earth, riders I've ever met.

Jeff: Are you a VT student or alum and is that you guys in the Epic? I am an old VT alum ('84). My son (who is hoping to become a VT student) and I ride behind the blue MasterCraft X2 on Elk Creek. He is a rising senior and just getting into wakeboarding. I always have my VT flag flying on the dock when I am there. Stop by sometime and say hey. Noticed your Epic - first one of those I have seen on LKA. You guys looked pretty good out there. Steve Davis

Migs- need a third? sick!

Steve- Thanks, are you on the private side? I just graduated actually so claiming Alum status, glad to have another Hokie on the lake. Yea the black epic is mine and also I usually ride behind a blue 210 super air on the private side during the week. Next time I'm out i'll stop by.

Joe- I'll be out of town all weekend so no riding for me this weekend.

skidaddy 07-17-2012 6:40 AM

Jeff: I am on the private "warm" side. In fact, you can almost see my house in the picture where you are doing your handle pass - my house is the next one to the left of the one in the background.

Congrats on graduation. Go Hokies!

Darn this choppy water here at Lake Ozark...we've been sticking to sunrise/sunset sessions but I did manage to have an enjoyable birthday celebration on Saturday:

VTWakeboard 07-18-2012 9:19 AM

enjoyable birthday celebration? that's a nice way to describe that.

Hey Andy, I think we briefly saw you come into the dock at Shorty Pants on the Sunseeker on Saturday. Gorgeous boat. Looks like you had a nice time!

onthewatermo 07-20-2012 6:18 AM

Shorty Pants must've been after my crew got dropped off (sometime after sundown but before midnight), but I agree that of the 80,000 boats on this Lake, Richard's 65' Sunseeker is the baddest I've seen and his captain wields it like a surgeon allowing the rest of us worry about other pursuits.
