I take it you don't check the boat discussion thread very often. There were pictures of it up yesterday a few times.

It's a 23 footer that looks a lot like the new Moomba with the square nose. That's really all anyone seems to know at this point. It's called the G23

just crashed for me... worked for the last 10 minutes of the pre-interviews but now its crashed :(

I was there (3/31) and it was awesome!! The Nautioque Team riders arrived via Learjet to a red carpet which led to a large airplane hangar. The hangar doors stayed shut until precisely 7:30 and opened to reveal 3 new G23 (but you still couldn't see them because they were hidden by a gauze skrim and backlit). As the crowd poured into the hangar (I'm guessing 1000 people) video, smoke and tunes filled the hangar. At a precise moment, Shaun came out and introduced the boat(s). The curtain dropped and all the riders were sitting in the boats as they took turns telling you about the features.

I've been to a lot of events - this was superb! Hopefully the web guy recorded video that will be posted on Nautiques website.

I will agree...had over 600 in attendance. Had a great time!

Prob so...at 7:00 the nautique guys said they planned for 300, gave out 400 vip passes and still had people piling in.

2800 lbs of built in ballast!! means the boys will be rocking over 5000, this wake is going to be unreal

Sounds pretty over the top and expensive for a company that had to restructure and cut employee hours over the last few years.....

Like every company in the US, even outside of wakeboarding, had to do? Your point is?

The new boat looks sick!!!!! I hope it lives up to all the hype!!!!! My only concern is how much is the price on one of these babies???? Seems like it would be pointless to have a new kick butt boat that no one buys because they can't afford it.

IIRC from the other thread in the boat section, it's cheaper than expected.

107k with the little engine.... which for a boat that size (5500 lbs dry) + the ballast, you'll need to opt. for the bigger engine putting it around 115k

Priced Like a new X-Star then.

Someone on the other thread just said that 107k is the Team Edition = fully loaded.... take it for what its worth since they had no source,

For right now the G23 is only offered as a Team Edition. It's MSRP is 107.
