Hey guys, have been riding for approx 8 months but not progressing to much.. can switch and slide, jumping about a meter... wake on boat is super small though as its not designed for wakeboarding, but its all I have to work with... anyway, still don't seem to be able to master a surface 360 and wondering if anyone has any tips to help me progress further...?

Thanks in advance!

Hey Rebecca...congrats on getting the fever! ;-D To learn a surface 360, use at least a 75' rope to stay out of the white wash, slow the boat down significantly and start with 180's from there. Put more weight on your front foot and slide the rear foot forward; move the handle from your front hip to the rear in the process. To progress to 360, from fakie position you just accomplished with 180, pull the handle (with your "new" leading hand) to the small of your back with palm facing out; reach around & grab it with your trailing hand to finish the rotation! Take it to the next level by doing the whole rotation in one motion. After learning at slower speeds, start doing them outside the wake by taking an aggressive cut out, let off & do the same rotation.

Good luck & let us know how it goes!

Thanks Kat!
I try and get out most days, sometimes even twice! Will take your advice out on the water with me when I next head out, got some bad weather atm (I'm in Greece) so will have to wait for that to pass...
Also have a problem with the 'Instructor'... he isn't qualified and has only been out about 5 time himself, just one of those people who isn't out to help and enjoy with the group, just to look good for the ladies. Sucks! ha ha!

Thanks again for the advice... B.
