Intermediate Wakeboard suggestions

So I attempted to upgrade the bindings on my 2008 ronix ibex to ronix one and I see that the binding patterns have changed a bit over the years to the point that I probably just need to get a new board.

I am 5'7" 195. I was looking at the ronix district for an upgrade board, but was wondering on other's thoughts. I am attempting tantrums, but not having much success. I can easily clear the wake with a grab, but that's about it.

Any other suggestions?

Hey, I'd say it all depends on what kind of pop you like. The District is a Continuous/3-Stage hybrid. Normally continuous boards tend to be faster, while 3 stage is slower but more explosive at the wake. I personally like 3 stage more and ride a Ronix Code 22. Since the district is a hybrid of the 2 shapes, it'll be more middle of the road. That said, the best thing to do is demo a few boards. I don't think you'd go wrong with the District, but as you hone in your riding more, you might end up on a different board eventually. Nothing wrong with that though, especially if you're buying in the off season like right now.

I love the Connelly Reverb. Men, women, kids.....no one has ever not loved it.
