Minnesota Riders

I may have the opportunity in the near future to move back to MN. The job will most likely be locate in Perham. Any Wake World peeps in that area or any crews that ride a lot? Perham/Otter Tail/Detroit Lakes area?

My boat is South of Perham about 20 miles or so. I live in Battle Lake. I only ride about once a week but ski about 4-5 times a week. What kind of job are you looking at in Perham?

My parents are on DL. We come up 3-4 times a summer.

Lots of lakes to live on - but small town living is not for me.

Good to hear there are a couple Wake World'ers around that area. I work for the Natural Resources Conservation Service and there may possibly be a lateral move opportunity. Right now there is a hiring freeze so time will tell. I always like to get a feel for the wakeboard scene before I make a move! I know there are wakeboarders around the DL area, just a matter of getting in touch with them.

Never thought I'd see Perham on Wakeworld! I live in Texas but nearly all of my (large) extended family lives in or around Perham. As a kid, I visited every summer for at least a week. My first time ever skiing, kneeboarding, and wakeboarding all happened on Paul Lake.

No idea about the wake scene but I'm hoping to strap in somehow this summer when I visit my parent's new place on Loon Lake.
