I bought a 92 Sunsport a couple years ago, and the original owner removed the muffler. It's a funky setup where a major section of the exhuast is not accessible (see pic here--<a href="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/65921/324183.html" target="_blank">http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/65921/324183.html</a>) <BR>I've got maybe 12" of length to introduce a muffler/silencer on a 3 1/2" exhaust. The only thing I've found for these dimensions are the following from Rex Marine: <a href="http://shopping.rexmar.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&amp;Category_Code=silence rs-inline-insert" target="_blank">http://shopping.rexmar.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&amp;Category_Code=silence rs-inline-insert</a> <BR>Anyone have experience with these silencers? Anyone have experience with better silencers with the same small dimensions?

I'd probably use the black plastic ones : <BR><a href="http://www.skidim.com/prodinfo.asp?number=NFM289-300" target="_blank">http://www.skidim.com/prodinfo.asp?number=NFM289-300</a> <BR> <BR>Nobody's going to see that chrome anyway.

Hey man. I have an exhaust crack as well, I just put some marine adhesive on it, I am going to see how it lasts. Mine are on the fiberglass, so my next step is to use a fiberglass repair kit. Make what you got last as long as you can. <BR> <BR>Also, how did you install your impeller wrong?

Right now there is no muffler. The picture in the link is not me, just a similar setup that I found (no impellar problems here). The original owner removed that big muffler and replaced with straigt tubes going from the manifolds out the exhaust, so it's loud as hell. I wanted to get the standard plastic/fiberglass ones from skidim.com, but they are too long to fit--I've only got about 12 inches length total to work with before the exhaust goes under the floorboards.

Yeah I wa reading the old post. I got it now. Go with what nacho pointed out at skidim, and adapt it to your setup. You might give skidim a call they are cool, and might have a good solution for you.
