K, so i am here for my brother because he is looking for a tower for his new Crownline 180. Of course he was looking at Monster but he came across DIYwake.com and was wondering what you guys thought about them. Ive heard a few people say good stuff about them but I figured i would question the general public. <BR> <BR>Thanks in advance

I like mine I haven't installed it yet but it is a quality tower and seems to be made very well I know a few people on here that have em and on wakeboarder.com and I have yet to hear anything negative about them

i love mine <BR> <BR>great for the price <BR>i got the black swoop tower <BR> <BR>its very solid, and customer service is pretty good

For both of you, it looks like the top bar slides to fit the different boats. Does that part rattle at all?

Don't know about the DIY but the top bar slid on my Joy Stick universal tower. Never had any problems with it rattling. I'm sure the DIY's the same basic thing and wouldn't expect any rattle from it either.

no, once its slid its bolted through with 8 bolts i think, not a sound

Just got mine in last week from DIY. Haven't mounted it yet, but I ordered it on a Friday at like 4:00pm and it arrived in Illinois on Wednesday morning FedEx. VERY happy with the quality. The weather has been too crappy to get boat out of storage to try it out. I ordered the polished tower, 2 wakeboard racks, and 2 6-1/2" polished speaker cans, and the whole setup to my door was only $1000. Call and talk to them if you are ordering a package, and they will cut you a deal.

go with the new monster its slick plus they have the best customer service in the aftermarket tower game hands down.
