bwood 09-25-2003 4:48 PM

What does everybody think of 03 parks. Also is the DNA better.

ninja_force_one 09-25-2003 5:10 PM

the Parks Is nice, Good Pop, but it takes a little getting used to. i don't notice a Huge diffrence between DNA and biolite, they are both great. i have an 03 Premier 140 DNA, and share an 04 parks 138 biotlite with my friend.

bwood 09-26-2003 3:57 AM

How do you like the premier. I was also looking at them.

xtremebordgurl 09-26-2003 7:50 AM

I've got an 01 Hype. Fluid, 03 Belmont, 02 Casset Linear Perspective

wakeboard_iraq 09-26-2003 9:24 AM

Woody, I own the 01 Byerly, 03 Byerly (until some bastard stole it) and now the 03 Premier. I also ride the Parks 138 (brothers) and occasionally my wifes Parks 133.

I like the Premier the best but I think I just discovered the secret to unlocking the pop with the Parks so my opinion might change.

ripr 09-26-2003 9:55 AM

'01 Trip 138, '02 Trip 133, '02 Premier 140 DNA (broken), '03 Parks 138 DNA (I think I just sold it), '03 GB Ricky G...oh, and a Neptune Six that's about a mile long!

dirwoody 09-26-2003 10:01 AM

did you break your premier on a slider?

ripr 09-26-2003 10:19 AM

Never hit a slider with it. Came down from a 3 and it snapped...

bwood 09-26-2003 2:38 PM

Jim is the parks that much harder to ride than the premier.

tfdhyprider 09-26-2003 2:43 PM

00 drifter foam, 03 tfd 136 dna and a 03 scape 107.

wakeboard_iraq 09-26-2003 2:47 PM

Not really woody. The thing about the parks is that many people (myself included) have extreme difficulty figuring out how to get the explosive pop out of it that is advertised. I noticed that I was getting shot up in the air TS (and I SUCK TS) but HS I couldnt go up no matter how hard I tried. Then I realized that I really needed to concentrate on edging up the wake HS. In doing so, I now really think about pulling my toes up and digging my heals in in order to ride up the wake on edge. It is different than what I am used to with the premier. Also, the premier is more fluid when hitting the wake and therefore more consistant. As I progress closer to an intermediate level rider I am now able to make adjustments in the air to correct myself if I am all screwed up after leaving the wake. While learning, you are just going to crash a lot. The premier is much more consistant in my opinion and therefore a better board for anybody in the low intermediate to beginner/novice stage.

bwood 09-26-2003 3:17 PM

Thanks jim.

parkcityxj 09-26-2003 3:32 PM
