Hey All, <BR>We were riding yesterday and saw a couple of Mastercrafts with tower speakers with white grills, just wondering if this was a manufacturer option? I could clearly hear the music from these speakers over 200ft away! They were very, very clear. I am looking for a set of tower speakers for my boat but still haven't decided which route to go with. I know about the Pro-80's but wanted something a little more economical. Just curious what was under those white grills, both boats were clear as could be! <BR> <BR>Thanks!

If it was an 06 or older they were probably Clarion Speakers on the tower, thats what they were using from the factory and they have white grills. For 07 I think there going with JL audio.

Thanks Steve! <BR>It doesn't seem possible that they were those, they sounded silly good...maybe they swapped speakers out and used the same grills. I tried to get them to stop but they just kept on going. <BR> <BR>How's the knee? Hope all is good!

They're probably JL. I have JL's on my 05, switched the white grills to billet.....

They wer probably JL they started using them in 05. I have them on mine and theyr probably the best sound ur gona get from car based speakers.

we used to have the mastercraft clarions.. they were loud i must say... i think that the clarions were louder but thats all personal preference.. they switched from clar to JL right when Jan 05 hit.. we had clar on our 05 x2..

They were JL..i have them on my 06 and they are great!

Bo, <BR>How much do you want to spend on speakers? I noticed you said somthing a little more economical. The Pro80s are $849 a pair, I was looking in my Wakeside catalog and heres some prices of other speakers. <BR> <BR>XTP 6.5 Double Tower speakers $910 <BR>XTP Project 912 Horn Driven Tower Speakers $1995 <BR>XTP 6.5 Tower Speakers $770 <BR>Skylon Rubicon 150 Tower Speakers $759 <BR> <BR>These all come as a pair. The Pro80s will blow all these speakers out of the water and then some. Just think.....a white Pair of Pro80s hanging off that Flight Control Tower for $849<img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/clipart/proud.gif" border=0>. You can always come over and check mine out if you want.
