Ballast Ideas?

I have a 2005 210 SANTE and need to weigh down the front... Anyone who has any knowledge of the 2005 210, knows there is not much room in the front lockers under the seats. I was looking at the integrated bow sacs and i don't think i will be able to use them becaseu I imagine they will only fill (roughly) 1/2 way. I don't want a bow sac that takes up the who front seat and want to be able to use the front seat and aisle. Does anyone have this problem? or figured a way to get about 500-750lbs in the front of the boat without losing room for passengers?

Thanks,
Chris

lead is the answer to your problem.

How far do you trailer your boat to get to the lake?

You can take the intergrated sack out and just set it in the bow, then you'lll get most if to be fillable

I tow it all over the place... sometime a couple hours to Austin, San Antonio, Dallas, ect... Depends on the weekend, mostly inside of 80 miles though.

I was thinking lead as well but I'm not sure i want to leave 500-750lbs of lead in the front at all times.

If you're towing a ton lead will eat up your bearings on your trailer. If you got that route you'll have to take it out each time or your trailer will be toast fairly quickly with long drives at highway speed

Check this bag out... I know nothing about it so do your research.

Yeah I've looked at that sac too. I just wanted to know if anyone has used it, or any other that would work, before i go spend another $250 on another Fat Sac. ( I have 5 already ) I don't just want them hanging out in the middle of the boat anymore.

I have the integrated bow sac in my 2000 SAN and it works very well. I think it is actually the best sac that I have spent money on. It probably only fills 1/2 way but it is the best place to put weight in a SAN to keep the wake from getting super steep. Weight in the bow actually makes a big beefy wake that is quite a bit more rampy then if you slam the back lockers with weight. I think if you put 500 lbs. in the front it would make it too bow heavy and you would be dunking the nose all of the time unless you use a lake that gets no traffic.

The arrow sac is for the newer hull style. the integrated bow sac is perfect under the seats in the nose even though it doesnt fill up all the way. You will have to cut out the cooler in the 05 though.

I'll look into that... im not sure i want to cut out the cooler, not that i ever use it, but i have thought about it a few times. Thanks for the help fellas I'll look at my options and go from there.

I was thinking i could get the arrow sac and stuff it in under the aisle and leave the triangle up in the front locker. Looks like it would slide just enough to fill the triangle up and get a few hundred pounds out of it.
