Supra sub box

My 2006 24V has a non-free air sub mounted like a free air sub in the foot well. I'm getting ready to start biulding a box and just want to see if anybody had some pic of the box you built. The only problem I see is that there are some wires and a vent line runing right beside the seaker as it sits now. Does the speaker have to be centered in the box or can it be right aginsts the in side wall of the box. I plan on using the stock panel as one side of the box.

Just a thought: Building the sub box into the panel will make it much more difficult to remove that panel when you need access behind it. We built a stand alone sub box and put it behind the panel and then covered that hole with a general sub grille and lights. It will also be a more difficult to seal that panel to the box you build.

Those hosed and cables should lay down flat and run to the outside wall, at least they did in mine. You can add small standoff legs to your box which will allow the hoses and cables to run underneath.

You do not want to change the radius of the steering cable by much or you will have early wear.
You should be able to elongate the opening in the top of the hump in order to re-position or re-route the cable without placing it under stress.
