lol, Brandon looks like he's making gang signs @ 1:35. "Chuck! MORE WEDGE"
btw, Nice edit Chad.
We need to ride the rails more. It's obvious we do it one set a year haha. Gotta build up to the huge one!
Nice way to start summer. I remember that place from what seems like a life time ago. Chuck place looks awesome. looks like all is going good. Lindsey says hi. Dan
Man that video makes me wish I didn't have work all weekend. Wish I could have made it up!
Its crazy how much the lake has changed and all the additional people that are there. Looks like you guys have a great setup.
Where is that?
Russell, it's in Southern California between LA and Bakersfield
Ok cool. I'm moving to Chino Hills next month to go to school in Pomona. I see that you live in Rancho. Where are some good places to ride around there?
sweet video ... hope dave puts that up on the video board as one of the this is what wakeboarding is about kinda vids
Nice video and riding... looks fun man.
What helmet cam did you use? Hero 3? Sweet video. Whats what one of those helicopter video cameras cost too, those shots are sooooo sweet!!
Russell, I actually don't live in Rancho anymore, but in Santa Clarita valley now, which is only about an hour away. There are limited good places to ride flat water in SoCal, that's why I bought into a private lake. Your best ride spots are Lake Elsinore (become a member of the private channel there to get better water), Castaic before 10am during summer, Lake Perris early mornings, and Long Beach Marine Stadium ( saltwater ). We'll have to go ride when you move here. Hit me up.
Delta Force, the helmet cam was a GoPro Hero3 with the standard sticky helmet mount. The aerial footage uses a GoPro Hero 2 because I don't have the right cable to use the Hero3 on it yet. They changed the video out connector from the Hero2 and Hero3 so I have to update the hexacopter to work with the Hero3. It's a DJI Flamewheel F550 base with some modifications. Google should give you some info. I'm actually rebuilding most of it to carry a higher end camera than a GoPro so my areal footage will be higher quality and less vibrations. |
Cool vid and ride spot!
Such a awesome vid and weekend!
Yeah Brandon. Gotta get a vid of you landing the back 5 so we can get it out of the crash reel and into the highlights reel :)
Heisenberg shreds!
Looks fun |
Well put together edit for sure!! Also that's a super cool facility, looks like the water was super clear, and maybe 5-6ft deep?
Thanks for sharing |
Ryan, yeah it's about 5 feet deep in the middle. Contrary to popular belief we still get good wakes! Mobes and 7s have gone down, unfortunately not by me though haha.
Great video. I keep watching it.
Great Video. Just noticed that the PWC riders aren't wearing life jackets. In Texas you can ski/board/surf without the jacket..but not ride on the watercraft. Not saying I haven't done it...just weird seeing someone ride without it now.

where is this?
