selling on craigslist and ebay
Maybe its me or what I am selling.
I have guys call all exited, or bid stuff striaght up, promise they will be there cash in hand ..... POOF! Gone... right into thin air. They wont answer calls or just never show up and just fade away. Its just a couple Yamaha 250s in good shape for a good price. It should be a square deal but I keep getting jerked off. Just ranting, sorry to bore you. |
Yeah that happens sometimes on craigslist, but it seems like your having more bad luck than usual. Yz 250's? or yz 250f's?

Outboards. OX-66 salt water series II 250 hp, 30" shaft. I wouldnt sell a dirt bike. Tire kickers are one thing and expected. Bid and bail is pissing me off. |
Oh my mistake haha I guess that shows whats on my mind. Have you tried boattrader.com ?

Craigslist is terrible of the scams. Was shopping dirtbikes and Atvs for the kids and nobody seems to have a title for it. They always fail to mention something important. Ebay is alittle better but not much.

Titles aren't a big deal for dirtbikes unless you live in Kalifornia, or want to make it street legal. Many people just have an MSO and never even get a title. In Texas you pay 6.25% taxes every time you transfer a title.
It sounds like you were using eBay? eBay used to be pretty good, but I don't use it anymore for anything except oddball stuff that's not likely to have many local buyers. CL has plenty of flakes, but you learn how to weed them out after a while. |
