Anyone Have Experence with the IS Red Rocket?
I"m looking for a board for bigger riders, and a good board to teach with. I figured this board might fit the bill, but not sure. We use a squirt now to teach, but it doesn't work for heavy people. Thought the red rocket might fit the bill??

Haven't been on a Red Rocket, but an IS Blue Lake would work also.I have taught people ranging from 140 to 210lbs on it and learned on it myself.Great board to start out on ,if you're looking to ride a surf style board.

The red rocket is supposed to support more weight then the blue lake right?
|
Yes geared toward larger riders

I have a Walker Project Bazooka. I'm 6'2" and 270 and love this board. I have taught some other people on it with out any problems. You may look into it also.

I have never heard of the other boards you mentioned but you should try the CWB Marius. I have a buddy who's a bigger fellow and rips on that board! It has a really friendly shape for beginners too!

I'm looking for a board for bigger riders on a small to medium sized wake.

The Red Rocket will work great, add extra fins for more drive, especially the degreed fins!
|
I ride a Red Woody, the same board as the Red Rocket but only 2 fins instead of 4. It is a great board to learn on for all sizes. I have had many people learn on my board from 150 lbs to 250 lbs.
