1975 ski nautique wake any good???

me and a friend have the chance to pick this boat up for low bucks. It needs a new distibutor and cleaning up. It already has a pylon. How would the wake be behind this boat? Anybody ever boarded behind one? I just sold my 07 i/o and i am plannng on buying an inboard this winter, we just want a boat to finish out the summer....any thoughts, ideas, comments, expierences?? Thanks Roger.

well it will surely give a better tow than your IO. Throw a fat sac in there and you'll have fun. Would make a fine wakeskate wake and that is just a cool classic ski boat.

My father in law has a 78 Nautique . it's good to learn behind but it's no 2001 that's for sure. Makes a good skate wake, On the plus side it drives like a sports car compared to most.
