Wow just watched this. This is in the Niger Delta, These guys are illegally stealing & refining oil. The ecological damage they are creating is unbelievable. Talk about $hitting where you eat! It's sickening,

Can't view the link, but being in the business and in particular having to deal with theft/fraud...its always surprised me just how easy it is to steal oil straight from a well. It's less of a problem at $50 crude

Adam: in the documentary (you can watch it on HBO on demand) these Nigerians don't give a crap about the environment. The place looks "Post apocalyptic" it's a toxic wast dump at best. The Nigerian Army is not making it any better. When they find illegal gas and oil. They dump it out right their on the ground. The town where they have the illegal oil is swimming in oil they dump its sick.
