robandrus 10-04-2006 2:14 PM

No. I don't live on a lake, but have always wanted to. I'm looking into developing some waterfront property in Utah. It's my dream to have my own dock.. One day.. Until then lets see your house on the lake.

bennygoodx 10-04-2006 2:47 PM

Yeah, I wanna see um too. Post em up fellas.

kevin_lsv23 10-04-2006 3:46 PM

We have a house about 2 minutes away from a lake (beryessa) its up above steele park. We have a killer view of the lake from our deck!

psudy 10-05-2006 7:12 AM

Looks like it might be creek Shasta if you don't get some water!

ecoff12 10-05-2006 7:34 AM

Hey manzo where is that vacation house? Lake Arrowhead perhaps?

bbeach 10-05-2006 8:03 AM

All you get is the view! View from neighbors backyard on table rock!

guido 10-05-2006 8:10 AM

I hate you guys all..... LOL. Nice places. That's my dream, unfortunately the commute related to living on the water just isn't in the cards right now. Is 27 too young to retire?

bbeach 10-05-2006 8:23 AM

CIE - you can retire at 27, you need to marry a rich woman! I recommend a doctor... For three reasons...
1.) She makes a lot of money!
2.) She's works a lot and isn't around to hassle you for spending too much time on the lake!
3.) If you get hurt on the water, you're taken care of!

zo1 10-05-2006 8:41 AM

ecoff12, it is on Hyco in NC...

psudy 10-05-2006 8:42 AM

Brad,
is that the house with the little light house on the side, on top of the cliff close to the glass house?

wakeguru 10-05-2006 9:41 AM

LOL at bbeach....you've apparently thought that one through pretty good. Last I heard, Joe was workin' that angle.

bbeach 10-05-2006 9:45 AM

Paul its a few houses down from the light house...

David - Of course I've thought that one through!

guido 10-05-2006 9:57 AM

Kstate, that's funny. I actually married the next best thing to a doctor..... An accountant. At quarter ends she works 70 hour weeks, and in between she spends a lot of time flying all over the country teaching/attending training seminars. We've alreayd joked that I'll be the stay at home dad if we ever have kids.

wakeeater2003 10-05-2006 10:04 AM

Bling it that ain't your house. And if it was we would be partying there every weekend.

kevin_lsv23 10-05-2006 8:12 PM

Off subject. Kstate...why does your profile have a Malibu picture, but says you have a MC?

rmitchell242 10-05-2006 8:27 PM

Grant you will have to work at least 3 maybe 4 days a week before you are livin over on that side of the lake

bbeach 10-06-2006 6:49 AM

Because I was tossing the idea around of buying an 07 LXI, and that boat gave me a woody... So I replaced the pic in my prof for a bit... I'll switch it back to my own boat if it makes you feel better!

Insuranceman...come on up to Grand, it is down some, but still has several fine spots if you can get out of the wind. Our cove was butter this morning, but I had to go to work. If I would stop messing around on this computer and get things done I might get home in time to use it this evening.

Kstate...nothing wrong with the Malibu picture...I was just curious, thats all. Come down to Grand Lake sometime if you want to spend some time in or behind one (although I may winterize it after this weekend). I have three sister-in-laws in Ozark and make the drive all the time. Its only 2 easy hours away.

pierce_bronkite 10-10-2006 1:42 PM

Is that a boat house next to the dock?

landon 10-10-2006 2:34 PM

Drew Patten, in the first pic of your parents house(top right hand corner) I believe you took a pic of a Flying Saucer...UFO's I knew the place was too good to be true.

(Message edited by Landon on October 10, 2006)

drewdown 10-10-2006 3:17 PM

Thanks guys. I wish I could say its mine, but I can't! Although I do spend a lot of time there its all my parents. I live in a townhouse with no yard on the other side of D.C. So its a nice place to visit on the weekends, if you can imagine.

Thats a lamp in the corner, not a UFO, lol, picture was taken at the end of the dock. It is a boat house on the bottom right. 3 guys cut the grass on riding mowers takes them a little while to do it.

wiscoepic 10-10-2006 3:20 PM

alliecat0223 10-10-2006 5:29 PM

Evan, were doing great, enjoying living on the lake, Eddy/Beer will be moving in soon. It's really cool that the only residents on the lakes are wakeboarders. The lake usage is still very minimal. We also bought property on Lake Cherokee in Tennessee. I know what your think, cold, public vs warm, private. Justin is 22 and @ 46+ my knees are shot and I don't know how much longer I'll be able to ride. I'm still doing backrolls and big grabs and 180's. I'm still a kid at heart and want to learn more but everytime I try something, my knees and body tell me otherwise. I'm very lucky because I've be able to do the things I've loved for as long as I have (extreme sports, barefooting, slalom, jumping, trick skiing, wakeboarding, snow boarding/skiing) since I was 13 years old, wow, 33 years, man I'm getting old. My body tells me that everytime I go riding. We went out last night after work and knee and neck are killing me today. I'll be riding again both Saturday and Sunday.
