Besides the cute graphics, are there any other differences between men's and women's boards? I'm riding a men's Hyperlite 140 while learning. When I get my own board I'd like to get a women's, but rarely are they that long. I'm 5'5"-5'6" and currently weigh about 220. I've been losing almost 10 lbs/mo. but I can't say if that will keep up. lol

Hi Rachel,

Other than graphics and sizes there is no difference between men's and women's boards. In fact, some companies have very similar shapes with different names marketed to men and women. Unless your heart is set on pink or purple go for any guys board that you like. I have had three different boards and not one of them was "women's specific."

Nice work on losing weight - wakeboarding is great for improving overall fitness.
