Anyone have any experience with these?

http://www.boatsafeheaters.com/

Look slick but they are pricey. Getting ready for the boat to live on a lift in an area where we don't get below freezing that often but I would rather play it safe. $500 heater vs. a new engine is a no brainer to me...

Why not use a tank styel engine heater to heat the water? should be much cheaper than $500
