Blacklist sucks, don't waste your money on it!

I can't believe that video was selling for like 28 bucks too! If the producers of the film read this, you guys got all those amazing riders together for a wake trip to powell and came up with THAT CRAP!? You guys are clowns, and I'd love to hear anything you have to say about it.

Now I understand why people want to download movies off Kazaa.

I thought it was cool. What is $28.00?? Nothing really. It's a totally different perspective. I enjoyed seeing the pros hang out. The video is based on one trip at one location, instead of being based on one rider at a time. You get to see their emotions when they crash and get pissed off, and how they just hang out.

You're a Senior VP of Finance and you're bitching about $28.00? Gimme a break.

It's all relative my friend, it's still a waste imo. And seeing a bunch of guys say, "This place is cool, this will be really fun!" and Chad Sharpe "react" and slap the water with his hands isn't my idea of a good video. There was hardly any riding in the video compared to others. And I though Danny Harf was there, I don't even remember seeing him.

Blacklist was sufficiently out there, in my opinion, to warrant some explanation from its makers, if that's possible. Maybe many of us are missing the point. It is, I'm told, a mighty short video, and my guess is JGG has all the toys because he knows the value of even small amounts of money; the cost does raise question marks with me, as well. Again, maybe I am missing something.

Steven, thanks for your comments. I just felt it was short and featured very little riding compared to other videos I own, and I have quite a few. It's also listed as more expensive then otehr videos and was hyped as one of the best videos of the year. When it was over it left me looking at the screen thinking... "uhh, that was it?!"

Like I said, I couldn't believe the amount of effort put into that trip and that was the video that came out of it. I mean, if I was putting something like that together I would try and make it a standout title, longer than most other videos. If it was my film I would have had rider segments for all on the trip as well as the extra footage of them hanging out jumping off the diving boards, smashing pies in each others faces and stuff.

Just the fact that it's made out to be so great, plus all of the talent and the lack of riding is what really gets to me.

It's true blacklist was a big let down. $25 could of been spent on a good video, Gas, 5 Beers at the bar, or anything else. You earn your cash a can value it as you wish.

It's all opinion, there are people who think the matrix sequels were as good as the original. I prefer progressive wakeboarding to Houseboat diving, rock climbing and talking.
I wouldn’t have minded so much if they would have just shown more riding and made the movie 45+ minutes. It is some what of a cool thing to show behind the scenes type footage. But it is supposed to be a wakeboarding film, so please show wakeboarding.

Did you guys who are upset about it read any reviews before going out to buy it? It certainly doesn't sound like it. Both of the reviews I read mentioned it was a short video with very few minutes actually dedicated to riding..

Instead of wasting your time venting here, email them and let them know how you feel.. info@sidewayz.com

or call them at 800-872-5525

It seems like a guy who cares that much about $28 would do a little research before spending his hard-earned dollar..
