Internet Poker...is it ever coming back to the US?
 

I played alot at FTP for about 3 years then the Government stepped in and ruined it for everyone. It has been almost 2 years since I have last played online. Does anyone know the status of Online Poker and when or if sites will return to the US?

I love poker. For a while I wasn't playing because my home game dried up and online play was lost. Online play will become legal in some states before the year is up. I don't know about your state but in California they are pushing through a law to have it legalized soon. THere is just too much revenue for the government there to not legalize it. If you are really interested in the subject or anything poker related check out the 2 plus 2 forums. They are great. They have really helped me with my game. All kinds of discussions there weather it be about legalization or specific hand discussions.

On another note I have started playing again because they opened up a nice card room a mile from my house. And eventhough it is a small sample size I must say live players in general are just plain bad. Most are there just for social purposes. They have no concept of bet sizing or position. But again check 2 plus 2 because that has made me a much better player.

thanks for the info, never heard of 2 plus 2 so i will check it out. Indiana will be LAST when it comes to getting it legal. Damn State Government is sooo jacked up.
