I saw that ad this morning. Very interesting, I'm assuming NADA doesn't take the trailer into consideration?

I owned a 2001 and it was an awesome boat. 750 hours and not one trip to the shop. The Wedge is needed, otherwise the wake lacks lip, and I changed props to pull the extra ballast. I was very happy with it.

Great boat classic hull I had 05 vride same boat just plain and simple one of the best boats tip to stern. At 18 it's a great deal if the hours and engine check out !
Itch

For 18k I would jump on that thing in a heartbeat.

Weren't the v-Rides all based on the 21 VLX Hull?

I just checked out this boat. Its OK, I guess. After all, it is 14 years old. Usual interior issues and such. But the hours are 1350, not 1250. That's double or triple the hours that most of these boats have on them!
Anyone know how much a new engine or Vdrive would set me back?

Theres another '99 'bu with 400 hrs just listed for $21995. Looks a bit nicer in the photos. I'm gonna call about that one.

1350 hours... 325 hp... 14 years old... 18,000... not worth it at all

wakebordr11 07-30-2012 4:21 AM

100 hrs a year... If it was maintained and not beat I wouldn't bat an eyelash at that number... 18 might be a bit high, but hey, you've got room to negotiate. My buddies boat has probably 1500-2000 hrs on it, runs better than the same year boat of another friend with 650... Depends who is working on it and how well they worked on it...
