- - New Tower on '99 Tige 21V? (http://www.wakeworld.com/forum/showthread.php?t=65982)

I am in the process of buying a used 99' Tige 21V from a guy I know, but it has no tower. I called Tige and the new 03' towers (pretty sweet looking) run about $3400, but they couldn't guarantee that it would fit. Does anyone have a suggestion or experience with other towers on the older Tige boats? Possibly something a little cheaper that looks equally nice??

Do not buy a Phat Budde tower. Very bad experience with them. You can get a Boss Tower that would look good on it.

I may know of a used '99 21v Riders Edition factory Metcraft available? Freshly powder coated white with pad/straps for racks on top and navy/sand factory bimini with mounts and all new covers for pads. It was at a local swap meet recently. He wanted $1500.00 for everything? It looked to be in really good shape and apparently had been swapped out for a new Boss set up. If you are interested I can make some calls and see if it is still available? Otherwise, you might try www.wakeside.com they have pretty good selection of new towers and accessories.

Those towers stink. I bought a 2001 20i and am looking for a new tower myself, if I dont trade the boat in. My tower cracked and metcraft did send me a new top to the old tower. The new one was the 2002 top with the new board racks. I painted it and it looks much better but still squeaks something horrible.

We are expecting several customer photo's of newer Tige's with the Monster Tower ($895) and will post them up when we recieve them. Our marketing guy is trying to save up for a Tige as it's his dream boat.

By the way, did Tige change the deck since 99'. If not I would not understand why their could be any concern over it fitting?

Bill

For 2003 is is a 22v not a 21v. The decks changed and so did the towers.

Brian - On your website (savings page), you have an AX2 tower that fits a Tige 21V for $1400. Why is the price reduced on that one? Is it still available?

The demo tower is sold. It was on our demo boat last year. Todd let me know how I can help with your new custom tower purchase.
Brian

Brian - post your number or email. I would be interested in a tower.
