Have you ever had the sky pole break the regular skipole mount on your boat? It did on my ski supreme and now I am worried about putting it on my 92 malibu....I think I was over tightening the cord does anyone know what to do...I know get a tower but funds are a bit low so for now I have the pole.

how old was your ski supreme? how big was the rider? Are you cutting out more than 45 degrees? The ski pylon should be able to withstand the skylon....

Well the bigest rider was me and I'm about 200lbs I think I was tighting the tie down to tight. How tight should it be?

did it break straight back or to the side?

It looks like it broke the glass going forward.
