Orwood was a mess last weekend...does anybody have recommendations on somewhere that may be a less crowded alternative, if we're looking to hide out and get some good water? I realize that it may defeat the purpose to let me in on some secret locations, but I'm just trying to avoid the total craziness around orwood or River's End...

You could go to Methyl Island and check Sugarbarge, Bethel Harbor, etc.

They weren't very crowded last weekend bu they are a haul from Orwood.

Holland Riverside Marina is about 10 minutes from Orwood and pretty good. Only a 10 minute boat ride to Railroad from there.

Stay away from River's End!!! The lame brains that launch there tie up to the dock at the end of the ramp lanes. Anybody that reads this please take note...when you drop your boat in, move it immediately to one of the two common docks. Get out of the launch lane dock so the rest of us can drop in and go!!!!

The Delta is closed to all boats this weekend due to small craft advisories, broken leavies, a new aggressive breed of freshwater sharks, man eating sturgeon and toxic spills

Gotta agree with Chris, very dangerous out there, the sharks especially are killers!
Hey Chris got room this weekend on your ride?

Spencer, I couldn't agree with you more! You ought to make a sign that says that and post it at the ramp. River's end is full of people who have no clue.

Lazy M is good if it is low tide or you have a tower you can lower easy.
