Inland Surfer Swallow v's Sweet Spot

Hi, looking for opinions of the two boards. I weigh 165-175lbs intermediate rider, riding an 97 Super Sport (basically SAN). Thinking the Swallow would allow the board to be used by more people and would be easier to keep going, just wondering if I would out grow it too quickly and wish I'd bought a Sweet Spot. .....

I have had them both and I think what dictates which to go with is rider weight and wave size. For your size, I would recommend the Sweet Spot. Hovever, for riders over 220#'s (or approaching it), I would go with the Swallow.

I prefer the Sweet Spot with just the Big Boy fins on the outside and I prefer the Swallow with the 3 degree canted fins. I also prefer the Swallow overall, but I am a bigger rider.

HTH

thanks, the only thing that bothers me is the wake size on the olders SANs, not really that big compared to the newer boats.

Yeah, I hear ya. If you're having trouble decding maybe the inland surfer board selector would be helpful. Just click on your info and it kind of chooses some boards for you. I have found it to be pretty accurate. http://www.inlandsurfer.com/

I own the v2 swallow and have surfed my pal's Sweet spot quite a bit.

The swallow is a much better board for a smaller wave and is more versatile.

Having said that, I overall much prefer the sweet spot (and I'm 160 lbs) but my wave is pretty big.
