Ok after seeing and hearing about the trip to Bullards has me thinking about where to go next year. My buddies and I are trying to plan a trip (we thought) to Shasta again but now I am interested in some other spots. What do you guys prefer?

ive never gone house boating, but i think don pedro would be a great house boat lake. tons of perfect coves for a houseboat, plus good water

I've done both. Bullards over Shasta for me.

It sounds like you might have seen this Thread already but check it out. I have been both places on trips and would choose Bullards over Shasta all day long!http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/1/735791.html?1253554617

I love Bullards, too... If I had to make a list of the favorite places I've houseboated it'd go like this:

1) Bullards Bar
2) New Malonies and Don Pedro (tie)
3) Shasta and Oroville (tie)
4) McClure
