$10K wakesurf boat suggestion?

I used to post regularly here a few years back, and I used to own a 2002 Malibu VLX with MLS, Wedge, and about 600 lbs. of lead. I ride regular, and the surf wake was awesome!

Circumstances have changed, the VLX is long gone, and a newer boat is not in the cards.

What older hulls take weight well and throw a predictable surf wake for a regular-footed surfer?

Thanks!

Here's a local possibility:

Here's a pic of the old VLX for nostalgia's sake:

i searched 10k to 15k any distance and there are a lot of boats. look at the centurion and tige line, a deeper v. there are a few mc maristar's they have a deeper v hull and will give you a better surf wake.

If you can afford it, get an older tige v-drive or 21v. They can be had in the 10-15k range. If your budget is lower then that, then get an old supra sun sport. They even came in a 24 foot version. Or a Fish Natique. The old fish natiques are deep v's.

Supra saltare (open bow) pirata(closed bow) are 23' and come with a 454. Just be careful of the floors and stringers. Mid 93 they went all glass.
I still miss my old pirata.
