For those who have been waiting for the "Raul" (I know he has left the company) 8inch cans at Precision Metal Works to come back in stock I have some bad news. <BR> <BR>They have raised the price to $85 per can plus shipping. <BR> <BR>I asked them to honor the $60 price since I waited for them to come back into stock for the past month and they never mentioned the price increase - but no go. Said the price increase was due to the price of aluminum. $25 per can?? Kicking myself for not getting a pair when they were $40. <BR> <BR>Anyway - If anyone has a set of cans they have decided not to use I will buy them for the $60 price. $85 per can is too rich for DIY cans in my opinion. They're worth every penny. They were probably losing money. You can't build them that cheap.

I've got 4 of these left to get rid of. I've been unloading them for $25 per can (plus shipping) as shown in the first couple photos, no clamps, welds need to be ground smooth, no speaker wire terminals, no machining for speaker mounting, etc.). Let me know if your interested, and Psyclone is right, these are very expensive to build.
