Does anyone know who made it thru?

I heard Jimmy Wolf did.

wakedad33 05-04-2006 2:05 PM

Gordie, Jimmy won his heat only one rider moved on per heat (15 heats)The ones I remember are, Rob Jacques, Shaun Murray, Chris O'Shae, Josh Palma, Derek Grasman, Aaron Rathy, Shane Bonifay, Cory Bradley, Collin Harrington, & Phil Combs

bigpapaf1f 05-04-2006 2:35 PM

SICK!!!! Right on Jimmy!!!!!

aden_g 05-04-2006 3:19 PM

1 rider per heat, 15 heats... WOW that is tough.

Did Sean O'Brien make it?

teamvaldez 05-04-2006 3:22 PM

sean did not make it through, he was in chris osheas' heat.

aden_g 05-04-2006 3:24 PM

Don't know who Chris is, but that sucks From what I have seen, Sean is a kick ass rider and from talking to him on the phone he sounds really cool. Better luck next year.

And did Brad Buskas, or Braden Stumborg try/make it?

solo 05-04-2006 3:31 PM

Chris O is from Australia.

aden_g 05-04-2006 3:33 PM

Damn, those Australians are taking over. :p

Anybody have any pics of the site? I would love to see what the Atlanta spot looks like. (And I don't mean the advertisement, with the guy boardsliding the rail coming out of the big forest)

electricsnow 05-04-2006 3:34 PM

does anyone remember any of the wakeskating results?

guido 05-04-2006 3:40 PM

good thing Jimmy is better at wakeboarding than he is at playing wiffle ball....

jkaiser2k 05-04-2006 3:53 PM

reed hansen, david hanson got thru

deltawake 05-04-2006 4:02 PM

What is the qualifying format? I thought that 32 pro men would qualify. Please advise.

teamvaldez 05-04-2006 4:04 PM

much to our dismay, brad buskas did not make it through

solo 05-04-2006 4:05 PM

This one time, at wakeboard camp, I saw Jimmy chewing gum and walking at the same time..... Lol!

Congrats! I'm gonna start calling him Jim instead of Jimmy. He's all grown up now. Maybe I can start a new trend...

kristian 05-04-2006 4:30 PM

andrew_moreton 05-04-2006 5:22 PM

Anyone know if Ryan Anderson or Dustin Shows made it through in Jr. Mens?

teamvaldez 05-04-2006 5:24 PM

jr men ride tomorrow

electricsnow 05-04-2006 5:54 PM

thanks for the update, jenny!

wakedude83 05-04-2006 6:07 PM

Don't forget about Tim Keepers, he made it through... Midwest represent!

lfxstar 05-04-2006 6:21 PM

Tim made it, NICE!!! Lake Magdalene represent

wakeriderixi 05-04-2006 6:28 PM

Chris O is a good guy too, Austrailian Hyperlite rider with some nice style. Some people thought Sean shoulda had it. Turns out that just being a sick a$$ rider most of the time doesn't get you into the finals all the time.. Go figure.

lol

crracer 05-04-2006 6:52 PM

Good for J-wolf he is an animal...a layed back one but still, very fluid. We rode with Jeff Weatherall today. He was amazing, i really think hes going to do well this year. Its nice that the season has arrived it seems a lot of riders are pushing it hard. Sean is a cool guy he is determined and will have another chance very soon

lfxstar 05-04-2006 7:00 PM

yeah i got weatherall on my fantasy team, he kills it beyond killing it

aden_g 05-04-2006 7:03 PM

Weatherall and Williams do a travelling clinic all around, they've been in my city and I have attended twice... they are really awesome together, a very good team. Didn't get the chance to see him ride, however.

wakedad33 05-04-2006 7:09 PM

Aden, Braden & Brad are both good riders and good guys and did not make it through to the simi-finals, Braden got 4th in his heat, should have been scored better.

blind5 05-04-2006 7:33 PM

and jeff house

solo 05-04-2006 7:34 PM

Weatherall and Williams have, in the past done many clinics together. I highly doubt they will be touring together this year.

melanie_g 05-05-2006 5:40 AM

What's the weather like out there? I fly in tonight, see you all bright and early in the morning!

andrew_moreton 05-05-2006 9:24 PM

Anyone know which Jr. Men made it through to tomorrow?

loudontn 05-05-2006 10:58 PM

Awesome to hear bout Jeff.

kneeboarddad 05-06-2006 4:17 AM

Jr Men- Hair, Tholander, Errington, Lariche, Hutton, Carter, Valdez, alex Hamerick, Ryan Anderson, Kyle Alberts, Rhett, Lee and Corey.

Its too early in the am. I can't remember the rest right now. Nick Jones, Devin, Hank C Dustin, AJ and Alex S did not make it. Daniel Wlden not there. There was some very good riding.

As you can see 4 Jr men from last year qualified for pros. Combs, Rathey, Jacques and House. Rookie of the year should be interesting.
