hi,

i'm a guy who's 5'6" tall and weighs around 135 lbs and aside from really wanting to get a wakeskate so badly, i'm also mixed up now coz there are still a huge variety of boards to choose from, even though i've tried to narrow the gap...basically i'm not yet quite sure what size to get...coz i've seen all kinds of sizes from 40's to 41's (which i believe i prefer), which just gets me thinking twice about each board all the time. Although i definately know that i really want a 3D concave, its just the length that i'm concerned with... so can anyone please suggest the ideal length for me? thanks alot.

A 39 to 41 would be perfect for you. You could always go bigger (1 or 2 inches won't kill you), but that's just buying more board than you need.

Just my oppinion.

would anyone know if the Liquid Force Faction is a flat or concave?

tha_k9 06-06-2006 8:28 PM

charlie, thanks for the advice bud.

The Faction is a flat Deck. Definitely Don't want top go over 41 or 42. Try to demo a flat and a concave to see which one feels better.

yeah i've already tried both, and concave feels so much better on my feet, and it relaxes my calf muscles better...thanks cosmocat.

okay...i now have myself quite a couple of boards to choose from...particularly the:

1. Hyperlite Karma 105 (this is a concave i presume...now is it??)
2. Gator Urban Slider 41
3. 2005 Liquid Force Anthem 40....

any ideas on how these boards ride/ perform? may i know which one is definitely worth your money?

Check out the Sattelyte Heartbreaker, it is a 41" concave deck.

Also check out Oak wakeskates. LF may be a fair-performing board, but I question their durability.

treycleaton 06-08-2006 6:01 AM

I mean, durability as far as wood wakeskates go.

Hey if you want a strong concave wood board get a 2006 gator wakeskate. They are really good

http://www.beyondwatersports.com/ws2/Items.asp?Cc=WS1%2DWKS%2DGB06
