Have any of you ridden near Marysville California? I spoke to a friend that says the waterway near Marysville (North of Sacramento) is just sick. I personally know that many of you are near this area and I have never heard of it? Can you ride there? I googled it and found a map of the area:

I Live in Sacramento. We ride on the river up near Marysville all the time. Always glass to be found. We launch out of Verona Marina and then go north past the the Feather river.
http://local.yahoo.com/details?fr=dd-local-tl1&id=21723996&state=CA&stx=verona&am p;csz=Nicolaus+CA&ed=ss9tkK160Syw.iYs2yUjgKtJr Y13cDyAm6WsPzkt1k_bQnJQ2s4IH.ye52dI_fuXrg--
Hope this helps.

I also forgot. Outside of Lincoln, CA there is Camp Far West. Nice lake off of Hwy 65. Try that one also.

Bullard's Bar is about 30-40 minutes northeast of Marysville. Normally glass all day.
|
So that's the Sac River that goes through Marysville? Is the water as nasty up there as it is near Sac? Anyone have more info on bullards Bar?
|
The water up above Sac is great. Nothing Like in town.
Here is a link for Bullard's
http://www.valleyoutdoorsmen.com/fishing/freshwaterfishing/regions/northernlakes/bullardsbarreservoir.htm
Are you moving here? What's the interest? Just curious.

You won't find water and scenery nicer than Bullards Bar. Check out the Randy Harris pictures on the alliance site. Go soon before the water drops.

Knights Landing is a nice place to go and its about 15-20 minutes outside Marysville, Yuba City area

Another vote for bullards it's sick, and if you want to see riding there I believe they shot parts of the Butter Effect there.
|
Also, I don't know how far north you want to go but 2 1/2 or 3 hrs north of sac is Shasta whch is also really nice.

Watch out for KL, it is dangerous....
