Triple X Slayer or Slasher?
 

I have been considering one of these two boards and since I will be unable to demo it first I need to rely on feedback. I weight 180lbs and am 6' tall, and surf behind a good/great wave behind my Enzo and my ability is that I can ride away from a spin occasionally and am just start to try airs. I have been looking at the 4'8" size but don't know which model: Slayer or Slasher.

Any input?

The Slayer is their premium surf style board and their best board. I have the slasher board which is a good beginner board but I would not get it for performance, the tail has virtually no rocker making it difficult for airs.

You are close to me same size I ride the 4'8" SLAYER love the board does airs and spins awesome its a upper price board tho being all epoxy and the option to put innegra fabric on it. The slasher is still great also being less expensive but you can still do airs and spins it is not a thick as the slayer but still super fast and does nice sharp carves.
