I think you are missing a digit... it should be 17 characters...

Yeah you need another digit in there. Took a chance that it was a VW but it isn't

Sorry guys I thought I reposted with the correct VIn it was missing the first letter. When I cut and pasted it i left off the first letter.

Thanks for trying though. the seller sent me a copy of the carfax.

Thanks anyway for the help .

I have been in the auto repair buss. for over 20yrs. I cant tell you how many times people bring me a car with a clean carfax report and I inspect it for them and find out it has been in an accident. Some minor but plenty hit hard. IMPO carfax is not with the papper its printed on. ALWAYS get a mechanic you or someone you know to look at the car..its the only way to be sure.

Thanks Kevin- I agree and always have a mechanic look at it. I use the car fax for service records, number of owners and where the car has been ( snow states ).

I'm surprised none of the puritanical types have called people out for theft yet.

SugarFree 01-14-2011 9:28 PM

No what's theft is $30 for a piece of paper that may or may not have the correct history of a car on it... kinda like being charged to view your credit score.

No doubt!
