I got a chance to try out the Hyperlite TFD Yesterday and really liked it. I am really intertested in getting one when the 05's come out, but i am curious what other boards compare to the TFD by other companies. You know just wanting to check out all my options.
I don't think any other board companies make a board like that its a real abrupt continuous. Maybe the Jobe Lyman.
I was goiong to say maybe a subjekt. <BR>is the dvnt more similar to a premier?
Theres not going to be an 2005 TFD... its changing this year..... Also, every 2005 Hyperlite binding is goin to change... there changing all the styles, materlials and other stuff. There are only a few Hyperlite boards staying the same which are the Byerly, Premier, and Temet. So if you want a TFD buy itbefore there all gone. I talked to a few people at Hyperlite

Jonathan, the TFD is great board. If you are interested, I have a 2004 136 DNA with xl highbacks for sale for $500. The board is basically new. Sorry for hijacking this thread.

i would check out the gator boards nautilus. rusty went from the tfd to the nautilus, and made the trasition pretty well.

I just picked up a 142 TFD DNA about two weeks ago and I love it. I was ridding a premier 140 DNA although I like the TFD better. Make sure to put .7 fins on it. Good luck finding one.
.7 fins........ yes a MUST........
I think the board is great with the 1.1 fins, digs in when you need it (always) and is pretty easy to slide around if you feel so inclined.
